GENERAL INFORMATION
1. The organiser of the Summer Guitar Festival 2024 is the ‘Krzyżowa’ Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe with its seat in Krzyżowa 7, 58-112 Grodziszcze, and the co-organiser is the Culture and Art Center of Wrocław (Ośrodek Kultury i Sztuki – OKiS) – Cultural Institution of the Local Government of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship with its seat in Wrocław 50- 101, Rynek-Ratusz 24.
2. The Festival will take place from 14-21.07.2024 on the area of the palace complex managed by the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe: Krzyżowa 7, 58-112 Grodziszcze. The stay is organised from the supper time on 14 July to breakfast on 21 July 2024.
3. The Festival is aimed at music school students, students and graduates of music higher education institutions, educators and anyone interested in improving their guitar playing skills.
4. The purchased MAESTRO PACKAGE includes: 5 individual lessons with a lecturer of one’s choice (no more than 3 lessons with one lecturer), the opportunity to take part in a competition (Competition Regulations are included in the Appendix to these Course Regulations) and group activities (optional), concerts, presentations and lectures, according to the Festival programme.

PARTICIPATION AND ORGANISATION
1. Application for the Festival must be made on the Festival website: https://guitarfestival.okis.pl/ by filling in the Application Form (which forms an Appendix to these Regulations).
2. Applications via the Festival website must be made up to and including 15 June 2024.
3. Before submitting an application to the Summer Guitar Festival 2024, the Participant is obliged to read the Regulations, the Programme and the contents of the Application Form.
4. On behalf of underage Participants, the application to the Festival shall be made by their parent or legal guardian.
5. In order for an application to be accepted and for a participant to be qualified for the Summer Guitar Festival 2024, it is necessary to make an application on the website and to pay a non-refundable advance for participation in the Festival in the amount of 200 EURO. (up to and including 15 June 2024).
6. Participants will receive confirmation of acceptance of their application and organisational information via the e-mail address provided on the Application Form.
7. The Festival will end with the Final Concert with the participation of the Winners of the Guitar Competition, which will take place on 20 July at 8 p.m. and during which all Participants will receive certificates of participation in the Festival.
8. Each Participant of the Summer Guitar Festival 2024 is required to complete an evaluation questionnaire about the event, provided by the Organisers, and submit the questionnaire to the Organisers no later than 30 August 2024.
9. The Organisers reserve the right to close the call for applications for the Festival earlier if the number of applications exceeds the number of places available at the International Youth Meeting Center in Krzyżowa.
10. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel the Festival if: – due to force majeure, events of this kind cannot be held in the municipality,
– another COVID-19 (or other) outbreak occurs and the risk of disease increases,
– the number of applications from participants does not reach the minimum number of 35 or the payments made do not cover the costs of the Festival.
11. In the event of cancellation of the event for any of the above reasons, the Organisers will return the payments made by the participants to the participants. FEES
1. Participants of the Summer Guitar Festival 2024 pay their own costs in accordance with the applicable price list made available on the Festival website.
2. Cost of participation in the Festival:
– MAESTRO PACKAGE: 2400 PLN (580 Euro)
The price includes full board (3 meals), accommodation in the International Youth Meeting Center in Krzyżowa (in dormitory rooms), participation in 5 individual and/or group lessons, participation in the guitar competition, participation in the events accompanying the Festival.
– OBSERVER PACKAGE: 1800 PLN (440 Euro)
The price includes full board (3 meals), accommodation in the International Youth Meeting Center in Krzyżowa (in 2-, 3-person rooms), possibility to observe individual and group lessons, participation in concerts and lectures accompanying the Festival.
– WEEKEND PACKAGE: 700 PLN (170 Euro)
The price includes full board from dinner on 19 July to breakfast on 21 July, 2 nights' accommodation in the International Youth Meeting Center in Krzyżowa (in 2- and 3-person rooms), participation in concerts and lectures accompanying the Festival. Arrival from 18 July is possible for an additional charge of 22 Euro.
– SINGLE ROOMS
It is possible to stay in a single room for an extra charge of 22 Euro/1day (limited number of rooms available).
4. NOTE! Payment of the entry fee of 200 Euro must be made no later than 15 June 2024 to the bank account below. The remainder of the amount for the selected package can be paid on site on the day of arrival at the Festival at the latest (by bank transfer, card or cash). 5. The Participant shall not be entitled to a refund or reduction of costs due to non-use of full participation in the Summer Guitar Festival 2024, i.e. in case of late arrival or early departure from the Festival.
6. In the event of resignation from the Summer Guitar Festival, the Festival Organisers must be informed.
7. Participants are required to obtain accident insurance on their own and to carry proof of insurance with them at all times during the Festival.
ARRIVALS OF PARTICIPANTS
1. Arrivals of Participants at the Festival are expected on 14 July from 3 p.m. (the first meal provided is supper at 7 p.m. on the day of arrival).
2. Upon arrival at the center, Participants shall approach the Reception with their identity documents for accommodation, information on the timetable and the programme of the Summer Guitar Festival 2024.
3. Summer Guitar Festival 2024 classes are scheduled to begin on the morning of 15 July 2024.
FESTIVAL PROGRAMME
1. The Organisers of the Summer Guitar Festival 2024 reserve the right to make changes to the Festival programme, including the programme of activities and changes to the composition of the teaching staff. Any changes will be announced each time on the Festival website.
2. The schedule of activities is determined by the Artistic Director in consultation with the Organisers. It is strictly forbidden to arrange individual
lessons with Summer Guitar Festival 2024 lecturers. Any breach of this clause of the Regulations shall lead to the immediate removal of the Participant from the Festival without the right to any refund.
RULES IN FORCE
1. Participants are obliged to comply with the Rules and Regulations of the International Youth Meeting Center in Krzyżowa and the Summer Guitar Festival 2024 programme (including the observance of meal times, the prohibition of alcohol and drugs, smoking and the observance of quiet hours) applicable at the International Youth Meeting Center in Krzyżowa.
2. Quiet hours apply from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
3. The Organisers have the right to exclude from the Festival those who disrupt activities or behave inappropriately during the Festival.
4. Admission to the individual and group activity rooms will be based on pre-registered participation lists or ID badges.
5. It is forbidden to bring into the rooms people who are not checked in by the Organisers and who are not participating in the Summer Guitar Festival 2024.
6. Participants are individually and financially liable for any culpable damage and missing devices of the International Youth Meeting Center.
7. The Organisers are not liable for valuables that may be lost, destroyed or stolen and have not been deposited against receipt at the Reception in Krzyżowa.
8. In the event that a breach of the prohibitions set out in these Regulations is ascertained by the Organisers or a person authorised by the Organiser, the Festival Participant who has breached the prohibitions undertakes to pay to the International Youth Meeting Center a contractual penalty of PLN 1,000 for each case of breach.
9. Persons failing to comply with these Regulations may be excluded from the Summer Guitar Festival 2024 at any time, without refund of the fees paid.
